It’s finally here! I finally made a bigger batch of this AMAZING chocolate spread and I’m happy to share it with you. :)
I call it a chocolate spread because it contains no nuts so it doesn’t taste EXACTLY like Nutella, however it’s just as delicious, if not more! (To be quite honest, I don’t even know how the real Nutella taste like anymore, lol.) This jar of happiness is GMO-free, dairy-free, soy-free, refined sugar-free, gluten-free & any other nasty stuff-free. It’s not “HEALTHY” healthy, I mean, it’s no kale let’s be real.. but it’s guilt-free, home-made and it’s faaar better for you than the original spread. I added coconut milk & coconut oil to it so it’s filled with healthy fats and cacao powder gives it extra antioxidants! Plus chocolate makes people happy so let’s indulge!
I made it super smooth and creamy but I also have a different version of it with more texture to it for you with shredded coconut and hemp seeds.. yum!

First let me just tell you how AH-MA-ZING this is. Oh my. It’s like baked oatmeal, pie, cookies and delicious chewy crust in one!! I can’t really explain it better, I’ve never made this and never heard of it until I went to whole foods last month when in NY and bought some apple crumble. I still miss it to this day and this blueberry crumble makes up perfectly for the missing crumble from WF. It’s even better because it’s homemade.
I got inspired to make this yesterday because I had overload of wild blueberries and I saw a great recipe from mynameisdagmara. I made my own version of the recipe, but if you want the original, head to her blog. ;) She made it with blackberries but since I had none of those, I chose blueberries. I also substituted the honey for maple syrup and cardamom for cinnamon and put a bit less liquid so it really is kinda different. haha.

Hi everyone! Today, I wanted to remake the chocolate cake I posted on instagram the other day. The recipe wasn’t mine, it was from The Healthy Coconut Flour Cookbook by Erica Kerwien, which is, by the way, THE BOMB. Anyway, I wanted to try substitute maple syrup for coconut milk so it’s not as sweet. I wasn’t sure how it’d turn out so I found myself just sitting in the kitchen staring at my pastry and shredded coconut caught my eye.. I made these babies like two months ago with a recipe from someone on instagram but I wanted to create my own version.
It looks kind of Christmasy to me, doesn’t it? I’m totally making these again at Christmas, only more! By the way I did end up making the cake while I was making these, but when I was coating them in chocolate, I forgot the cake was still in the oven and burnt it..typical. It wouldn’t turn out good anyway.
Friendly advise, if you even wanna sub maple syrup for coconut or any other milk.. Don’t. You’re welcome. lol
Now that I’ve shared today’s “kitchen fun” with you, let’s get to the recipe! I love experimenting with cooking and baking, though! It’s fun and you always learn something. :) Click read more —>
Good morning, I hope your day is going great! Lately it’s been quite cloudy and I can’t wait for it to get hot again so I can enjoy my banana “nice cream” outside in the sun. But even in the colder weather, I still crave ice cream.. I wish everyone knew about healthy ice cream so every kid could eat it without their parents complaining about the sugars in it. I mean, isn’t every kid’s dream to eat ice cream and chocolate all day everyday? With all the berries and other sweet fruits you can add, they wouldn’t even believe it’s good for them! (try my very berry sorbet)
Anyway, this ice cream isn’t probably what a kid would eat, but you never know.. or even what most people would eat. But don’t knock it till you try it! It might look crazy, eating green ice cream, but it is good I swear.
I added my detox powder mix and I’m hoping to add a bit of it to my smoothie every day, well, we’ll see how that goes.
It’s a mix of spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, barleygrass, milk thistle and zeolite (the packet says zeolyte but I think there’s supposed to be an i)

This berry sorbet is my current favorite breakfast food because it’s been sooo hot outside lately (duh, it’s summer). It’s sweet, refreshing & and overall delicious. You won’t believe it’s good for you!
When I’m eating stuff like this I ask myself why don’t people like healthy food and how is something so tasty good for me? Healthy is fun! I love mixing different fruits and superfood powders to experience new great flavors. I literally feel like I never want to eat regular store-bought ice creams ever again because this is just so much better.
